First word
His very first word was “OK.” Possibly a coincidence. We're counting it.

Two years ago, a very small passenger joined our family. Here's the ride so far.

TANG, AMADEUS★2024·11·09★12:00
November 9, 2024.
Noon, on the dot.
Amadeus Tang arrived at BC Children's in Vancouver right at midday, the sunniest hour there is. Fitting, for the sunniest kid we know.
He settled in fast.
Joyful by default, calm under pressure, and curious about absolutely everything.

…and absolutely a sweetheart.
Then the firsts started rolling in.
First word
His very first word was “OK.” Possibly a coincidence. We're counting it.
The baba saga
Then he said “baba”!
…and promptly forgot it.

From then on: mama. Only mama.

Past a year and a half, baba was back.
Before crawling
He had exactly one move: the backwards butt-scoot.
Forward came later.
Sounds
His animal sounds are seriously good.
Hands
For a while we were sure we had a lefty on our hands.
Turns outDefinitely right-handed.
At the same time, he's also exploring the world!
Not even two, and he's already been to four countries.
His favourite kinds of places:
Ask him what fish or sea lions sound like!

His happy place with grandparents

Towers, theme parks, resorts, he's seen it all

Airport hugs and many, many layers.

Milk mustache included.

Anything with fur, feathers or fins.

Which brings us to now. Final stop…
